Sorry I know the July 4th post is late for anyone reading this(anyone?)

This year I actually took a few days off to enjoy the beach during the July 4th holiday - guess how many days I actually went to the beach................1

Got down Tuesday night and went to PH with Lisa for dinner and drinks then ended up watching an ABC family show with Lisa and going to bed around 2am

Wednesday - went to the beach and it was awesome to be on the beach knowing everyone else was at work :) - that night Allyce came down so we went to Parker House for some drinks and then over to Leggits - Leggits had the worst band ever. I met some guy when he kicked me in the ass to say hello, suprisingly we did not hit it off well. We ended up leaving the bar before 12am and went home to practice beer pong in the dining room.

Thursday - went shopping and bought a bunch of new clothes to wear that weekend - no beach but still fun. That night back to Leggits - band was not there. Was not a lot of people I knew, foreigner sighting + drunk me = crying in a cab - yup that's going well.

Friday - 4th of July!! Beth came to SL from LBI and we tried the beach but it rained as soon as we got there so we had a barbeque - the food was amazing - mmmmmmmmmmm ribs. That night we went were drinking at home so we didn't make it to PH(rumor has it the place was so crowded) - we watched the fireworks on tv and got a cab to edgars - we danced with some weird people but had a great time.

Saturday - No beach again b/c we didn't motivate and we had Sundress Fest - I will admit that it was a lot of fun. I was a bit apprehensive about going to this party. The invite had been passed around and made fun of for weeks by the house. Some people didn't want to go, we got ready - Turco came up for LBI and we ventured over - 1st stop porn names. You had to give your 1st pet's name & the street you grew up on. I went with Alex Myrtle - those of you who know me may wonder why I didn't use my true first pet's name - well Patsy Myrtle is really not a porn name. It did rain so we took shelter in the garage and played some beer pong - Lisa & I lost - Mark and I won one and then Mark lost the second one(it's not important what I'm doing) Afterward we went to the Porch - it was great, the house got together and took some pics - I was way too drunk to be out so I walked home

Sunday - I was gonna go home b/c I had already spend a ton of time drinking that week but a 3 hour train ride home helped convince me to stay. That day it was overcast so we did not go to the beach - we did go see a movie - Wall e ummmmmmm worst.movie.ever. I just did not enjoy the 2 robots that only said one word each or that in 700+ years the human race is all obese - it was boring and just not amusing. That night we intended to go to PH as usual but didn't rally for it - instead we had brownie's and ice cream. Lisa did make it out but she had off on Monday :)

Monday - Beth and I got up at 5am and trekked back up to Hoboken.

it was a fantastic week and I hope that I can take time off for Labor Day too!
